Exhausted from the previous day, I retired at 11 PM, considerably earlier than my customary bedtime. I rose at 7:10 AM and reached the office by 8:08 AM, ensuring I could depart at 6:08 PM.

This morning I finalized the PR plan for the event I had mentioned yesterday, incorporating additional social media elements. I assumed this would complete my tasks, but my desk neighbor distributed two forms regarding monthly report and KPIs, mandating completion by day’s end.

Paperwork is my absolute nemesis. It devours time while offering zero value in return. Nevertheless, duty calls and I answer. After completing my own forms, my boss requested I handle hers as well. Having no insight into her monthly activities, I enlisted a colleague’s assistance. Through persistent inquiry and methodical completion, I managed to finish the task. However, another obstacle emerged: my computer couldn’t access the printer located directly behind me. I had to contact support for technical assistance.

At lunch, we ventured outside, initially following another team under the assumption they were heading somewhere novel with exceptional cuisine. Instead, they were merely seeking beer. Disappointed, we retreated and settled on a modest restaurant serving steamed rice rolls.

Before my brief afternoon respite, I delved into “Atomic Habits” on my new Kindle. The book proves remarkably insightful, offering substantial practical wisdom beyond mere habit formation techniques.

Moments ago, I received my new company uniform. The color is absolutely hideous. I’m dreading having to wear this monstrosity.
