Today I resumed my customary routine, waking at 7:30 AM and arriving at the office at 8:30 AM. My workload was relatively light this morning. I merely completed the PR plan for the upcoming event in Singapore.

Having thoroughly researched the event, I remained rather skeptical about its significance. Though called the ASEAN Award, it was only organized by Vietnam and Singapore, lacking recognition from other ASEAN nations. In essence, it strikes me as little more than a vanity project – companies paying for a moment in the spotlight.

However, my senior colleague invited me to participate in a meeting she was leading about developing new TikTok channels for our department and company. Drawing upon my experience, I identified numerous potential challenges they would encounter if they proceeded with the project. My boss suggested collaborating with an outsourcing agency to ensure our channels would perform optimally.

Once the meeting concluded, I enjoyed my lunch: noodles and beef in a Thai-flavored broth. The flavor was exquisite. While eating, I watched “The First Swallows”, a compelling and emotionally resonant documentary.

After a brief nap, I woke up to write this entry, attempting to keep myself somewhat productively.

Meanwhile, as I sit with nothing pressing to accomplish, my desk neighbor struggles frantically with creating PowerPoint slide for my boss. Initially, she was scheduled to present her proposal next Monday, but within ten minutes, the timeline shifted dramatically. She must now present at 4 PM today. The compressed timeframe makes it impossible for her to craft her usual polished presentations. She appears visibly anxious, her voice betraying the mounting pressure. I dare not interrupt her frantic preparations.
